With a specific focus on entity formation and local policies throughout California, Joanna works with businesses of all sizes and types and is able to provide pertinent insight to any cannabis business owner.  Joanna advises the firm’s clients on matters of entity formation, corporate governance, business transactional matters, local permitting and state licensing with a particular focus on the water law and environmental issues facing commercial cannabis operators.

Joanna earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Society from the University of California in Santa Barbara.  She is active in local and statewide industry groups as well as the National Cannabis Bar Association.
